clay — Who I AM

clay

"Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand."

— Isaiah 64:8

clay is nobody. clay is all of us. clay is what God makes when He humbles a man, breaks him open, and breathes new life into him through Jesus Christ.

The Assessment

Who I AM

Every person who comes to the CCross fills out an intake form. This is mine — answered honestly, publicly, for anyone who needs to know they are not alone.

Servant CEO & Founder — The CCross Inc.

Age49
FaithCatholic — Consecrated to Jesus Christ through Mary, our Virgin Mother
VocationFather of 7 children. Husband. Son.
RoleServant CEO & Founder, The CCross Inc.
Primary struggleSpiritual warfare — the enemy came for me directly. Not metaphorically. Directly.
Faith pathCatholic — perfectly adherent to the Bible, the Teachings of Jesus Christ, and the Magisterium
What broke me openRealizing that even good people sometimes accidentally lie to you. That for some reason the entire world has been warped away from The Truth. Suddenly seeing that I was surrounded by lies — not from malice, but from a world that had drifted — was intensely painful. Deep in the Soul. That pain became the CCross.
What I want you to feelThat you are seen by God, and that the pain you carry when you sense something is wrong with the world is a sign of spiritual life, not illness. That The Truth has not abandoned you. That Jesus Christ is still here, and He is enough.
What the world gets wrongThat clay is a name. It is not. It is a reminder — lowercase, always — that I am nothing without the Potter. I am the raw material. God is the Artist. The CCross is what He is making.
Anything elseI am a sinner. I am broken. I am in the middle of my own healing — not finished, not perfect. I built this ministry in obedience to Jesus Christ, not because I had anything to offer, but because He asked me to and I had no right to refuse.

What the CCross Prescribed for Me

Spiritual Warfare

Catholic Path — Gateway 1 result

Catholic Path

The enemy does not attack people who are not a threat. The fact that you are under direct spiritual attack is, in a strange way, a sign that you matter to the Kingdom. The prescription is not to fight harder — it is to surrender more completely to Christ, who has already won.

Spiritual Remedy
  • Daily Mass and reception of the Eucharist
  • Frequent Confession — the Sacrament of healing
  • Consecration to Jesus through Mary
  • Rosary, Chaplet of Divine Mercy, Liturgy of the Hours
  • Deliverance prayer — with a priest when needed
Mental & Emotional
  • Recognize that the pain of seeing lies is a gift, not a wound
  • Grieve what was lost — the world you thought was True
  • Find a Catholic therapist who understands spiritual warfare
  • Do not isolate — the enemy wants you alone
  • Speak the Truth out loud, even when it costs you
Physical
  • Fast regularly — it weakens the flesh and strengthens the spirit
  • Sleep, sunlight, clean water, whole food
  • Remove anything from your environment that invites darkness
  • Physical discipline as an act of worship
Community
  • Find a parish that takes spiritual warfare seriously
  • Surround your family with True Christians
  • Share what you know — prophesy is not optional
  • The CCross community — you are not alone here
"I did not build the CCross because I had answers. I built it on my knees, in the middle of the battle, because Jesus asked me to — and I am nobody to refuse Him."— clay, a servant
My Possession Discernment

Am I Possessed?

I ran my own discernment through the same tool every person on this site can use. Here is what it showed — and what I did about it.

You Need Both

Spiritual AND psychiatric dimensions — both are real, both need attention

Seek a Priest + a Therapist

The "You Need Both" verdict is not a failure. It is the most honest answer the discernment tool can give. It means the spiritual and the psychological are both real, both active, and both need a True Christian perspective — not one that dismisses the supernatural, and not one that ignores the human.

What the spiritual side showed
  • Diabolical oppression — external attacks, not internal possession
  • Intrusive thoughts I had to fight — obsession, not control
  • Open doors I had to close through Confession and Consecration
  • A pattern of attack that intensified as the CCross grew
What the psychiatric side showed
  • The pain of seeing the world's lies is real — and it needs to be processed
  • Grief for a world that was not what I thought it was
  • The need for a Catholic therapist who does not dismiss the spiritual
  • Healing is not weakness — it is the work God calls us to

What I did about it

  • Went to Confession — regularly, not occasionally
  • Consecrated myself to Jesus through Mary (Total Consecration — St. Louis de Montfort)
  • Found a priest who takes spiritual warfare seriously
  • Sought a Catholic therapist who does not explain away the supernatural
  • Built the CCross — because I could not find one place that held both Truths together
"I am not sharing this to be brave. I am sharing it in obedience — because the person reading this right now deserves to know that the founder of this ministry has sat in the same chair they are sitting in, and that Jesus Christ is the only way through."— clay, a servant
Light breaking through darkness — spiritual warfare
clay as mankind

Why "clay"?

The name is lowercase on purpose. clay is not a title. It is a posture. It is the acknowledgment that I am raw material — unfinished, imperfect, still being shaped by the Potter's hands.

But clay is also every person who has ever felt like they were being broken down and remade. Every person who has felt the pressure of the Potter's hands and wondered if they were being destroyed — when in fact they were being formed.

clay is nobody. clay is all of us. That is the whole point.

"We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand."— Isaiah 64:8
Vocation

Father. Husband. Son.

Before the CCross, before the ministry, before any of this — I am a father of seven children. That is my first vocation. That is where God shaped me most.

I am a husband. I am a son. I am Consecrated to Jesus Christ through Mary our Virgin Mother. Everything I do flows from those four things — in that order.

The CCross is not my identity. It is my assignment. My identity is clay — the work of God's hands.
