Did You Know Jesus Loves You?
Jesus is real. He is alive. He is God — and He loves you more than you can imagine. He made you on purpose, with a plan, and He knows your name. No matter what you have done, no matter how you feel, He is always happy when you come to Him.
When Jesus walked the earth, children ran to Him. The grown-ups tried to send them away — but Jesus said no. He said, "Let them come." He held them, He blessed them, and He told everyone that children show us what it means to trust God. That is a very big deal.
You are never too young to know Jesus. You are never too small to pray. And you are never, ever alone — because He is always with you.
Simple Prayers for Kids
Prayer is just talking to God. You do not need big words. You do not need to be perfect. Just speak from your heart — He is always listening.
The Our Father
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Guardian Angel Prayer
Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God's love commits me here, ever this day be at my side, to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen.
God gave you a Guardian Angel — a special helper who watches over you every single day.
A Simple Heart Prayer
Jesus, I love You. Thank You for making me. Thank You for loving me. Help me to be good today, and to love the people around me. I trust in You. Amen.
Special Gifts from Jesus — the Sacraments
Jesus left us special gifts called the Sacraments. They are real moments where He comes close to us in a very special way. Two of them are especially for children and families:
Baptism
When you were baptised, God became your Father and you became part of His family — the Church. The water washed away original sin and filled you with His life. It is the most important day of your life.
First Holy Communion
At Mass, Jesus gives us Himself — His Body and Blood — in the Eucharist. This is the greatest gift in the world. When you receive Holy Communion, Jesus comes inside you. Nothing is more beautiful than that.
Confession
When we do something wrong, it hurts our friendship with God. Confession is how He fixes it. You tell a priest what you did, you say you are sorry, and God forgives you completely — like it never happened. He is never angry with a child who comes to Him sorry.
Going to Mass
Mass is where the family of God gathers together. We listen to His Word, we pray together, and we receive Jesus in the Eucharist. Going to Mass every Sunday is one of the most important things a Catholic family can do.
Ask your mum, dad, or a trusted adult to help you learn more about the Sacraments. They are the path Jesus gave us to stay close to Him.
You Are the First Teacher
The Catholic Church teaches that parents are the first and most important teachers of the faith. What you live at home — the prayers before meals, the Rosary, the Sunday Mass, the Confession — shapes your child's soul more than any programme or school ever could.
You do not need to be perfect. You need to be faithful. Bring your children to Mass. Pray with them at night. Tell them Jesus is real. Confess your own sins and let them see you do it. That witness is the most powerful thing in the world.
