Holistic Life Assessment

This Catholic assessment begins with the healing of Jesus Christ and the care of His Church. Every person is welcome to seek help here, whatever they carry. The path we offer is rooted in prayer, Scripture, the Sacraments, and practical steps toward ordered, whole-life care.

“By His wounds you have been healed.” — 1 Peter 2:24

Jesus Christ is the ultimate healer of every wound — Spiritual, mental, physical, emotional, and Environmental. Whatever your background, this prescription points toward the same source of true restoration.

How It Works

1

Tell us where you feel the heaviest burden right now

2

Tell us where you are on your journey with faith; we will meet you with respect and point toward Christ and His Church

2b

Discern: is what you are experiencing spiritual or moral, clinical or mental-health, or both? The assessment helps you name it honestly — without forcing a false choice.

3

Make your oath — commit to Truth, to living by it, and to Faith in the Healing Power of Creation

4

Receive your personalized prescription with resources, books, therapy systems, and community tools

5

Review the 8-Pillar follow-up to identify additional areas for growth

6

Work through all 12 points of the fillable PDF checklist included with your prescription — an act of accountability before God and His Church. The basics come first, no exceptions.

A word on discernment before you begin

This assessment is NOT a medical or psychiatric diagnosis. Only a licensed clinician — a physician, psychiatrist, psychologist, or licensed counsellor — can diagnose a mental-health condition. Nothing here replaces that.

The Catholic Church holds a both/and: mental illness is real, and demonic oppression can also be real. They may coexist, but they are NOT the same thing. A faithful Catholic can have clinical depression AND be under spiritual attack. A person experiencing psychosis is NOT necessarily possessed. A person who is oppressed is NOT necessarily mentally ill.

We will never tell you that your DSM diagnosis is a demon, or that your demon is a DSM diagnosis. That is a false and dangerous conflation.

Prayer does not replace medicine. Medicine does not replace Confession, Mass, the Eucharist, and laity-licit deliverance prayer. Both are real. Both matter. God works through natural means and supernatural ones.

If you are in immediate danger — suicidal, in psychosis, or at risk of harming yourself or others — stop now. Call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, US) or your local emergency services. This assessment can wait. Your life cannot.

What follows is Soft Truth: it does not minimise your pain, and it does not leave you in it. It points to Jesus Christ and His Church, and urges you toward licensed care when that is what you need.

A word to every soul

You Are Welcome Here

If you experience same-sex attraction, or identify as LGBTQ, you are not disqualified from the Church. You are not disqualified from Grace. The CCross does not discriminate. We serve every person who walks through this door, regardless of what they carry.

What the Church asks of every person — straight, gay, or otherwise — is the same: Chastity. The mastery of the body by the Spirit. Fornication of any kind, with any person, in any configuration, is the rejection of the body's sacred purpose. This is not a special rule for one group. It is the universal call to Holiness that every baptized soul is given.

pride — the vice, not the parade — is the root of all sin. It tells us our desires define us. The Gospel says otherwise: we are defined by whose we are. And we belong to Christ.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”— Matthew 11:28
